RMI will be at the annual conference of the Society of Environmental Journalists (SEJ) at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Now in its 35th year, SEJ has organized these conferences to gather storytellers and change makers to discuss the environmental issues that shape national and regional reporting. RMI is proud to participate at the conference with both a workshop and beat dinner for those registered for the conference. RMI Cofounder and Chairman Emeritus, Amory Lovins, will be a featured speaker for the Accelerating the Transition conference in San Francisco, April 18-20. The conference will bring together leaders in government, cleantech, impact investing, and policy to discuss real-world solutions for the clean energy transition.

Amory Lovins will give a plenary keynote on “Energy Efficiency and Energy-Efficient Design—Our Greatest Energy Resource” at 3:00 pm PT on Saturday, April 18th.

RMI is proud to participate in the Global Sustainable Islands Summit 2026, joining island leaders, utilities, funders, and partners from around the world to accelerate resilient solutions across island contexts. At the summit, we are convening our own side event to spotlight how island energy ambitions can move from concepts to implementation. RMI experts will also contribute to conversations focused on grid resilience, capital mobilization, and integrating renewable resources at sessions throughout the conference.

Hosted by OTS R&D and presented at DC Climate Week, this event will explore refrigerant reclamation, recovery practices, and emerging incentive opportunities to support these efforts. RMI and OTS R&D will share new jointly conducted research on reclaimed refrigerant reclamation, alongside other presentations from OTS R&D, AHRI, and DCSEU.

Join CoolPact Capital during DC Climate Week for a moderated panel discussion with leading experts from the World Bank, RMI, and OTS R&D.
