​Colorado Climate Week is coming to the Roaring Fork Valley—and we're kicking it off at RMI in Basalt on Thursday, March 26 from 3–5pm. Happy hour following at the Tipsy Trout in Basalt. This free public event features two panels: one digging into the climate impacts hitting our region hardest, another spotlighting local entrepreneurs building solutions right here in the valley.

RMI will be at NACW to lead a workshop titled, "When Is a Credit Type Market-Ready? Lessons from Orphaned Wells." In this session, led by Alexis Wilkman, we will explore the evolution of orphaned well plugging credits, a credit type that has seen rapid development and methodological churn over the past three years.

RMI is proud to participate in the Global Sustainable Islands Summit 2026, joining island leaders, utilities, funders, and partners from around the world to accelerate resilient solutions across island contexts. At the summit, we are convening our own side event to spotlight how island energy ambitions can move from concepts to implementation. RMI experts will also contribute to conversations focused on grid resilience, capital mobilization, and integrating renewable resources at sessions throughout the conference.
